I highly recommend Daniel and his team for home remodelling... read more projects. Daniel is a very experienced general contractor, hands on, and is a true craftsman. Daniel also is a very kind person. He helped me with several other projects around the house and when I said I wanted to pay for them, he would say, it's no problem really, that is an easy quick thing for me to do and I'm already here. Daniel has a heart for people struggling and understands that many of his clients have had very painful and expensive prior remodel disasters and so he listens, no pressure, works within your budget, and truly wants to get you back on your feet and feeling good again in your own home. I found Daniel and team on Thumbtack, and they just completed what I thought would be the impossible - giving me hope that this home I bought as an investment nearly two years ago but had become a weight around my neck with stress and worry and hopelessness, could be beautiful and rentable. Finally I have found a truly amazing, skilled, reliable, and ethical contractor team that has fabulous communication, the amazing Robyn who is always there to talk and provide status, and truly wants to make their clients not just happy but comfortable throughout the process. I had an ugly dingy dark and hot in the summer and cold in the winter bathroom. I now have a bright, crisp, spacious looking, modern bathroom that integrates so well with the character of this ol California Sierra home. It is the best insulated room In the entire home, and truly a breath of fresh air. I love the bathroom so so much. When I saw the final remodel, it literally took my breath away. I cried joyful tears It is so bright and airy that when the door is open, it spills that same energy into the hallway and bathes it too in positive energy and light. I truly could not envision it could be saved when Daniel met me the first time. Daniel never doubted from the start that the space could be absolutely gorgeous. Daniel asked me many questions about what I wanted. He made suggestions when I asked for his opinions and made recommendations but never ever pushed any idea on me. One of the changes I was nervous about was not keeping the original mirror medicine cabinet. Daniel offered up suggestions and reasons to support either decision, pros and cons, and after much flip flopping, I went with his suggestion to put in a modern back light no fog mirror. I am beyond grateful that I trusted him on this point as it truly is a beautiful focal point of the bathroom. It would have been a mistake to keep the old girl. Daniel also suggested putting in can leds, he installed a fan that automatically comes on when needed, gave it more outlets, fixed the shabby plumbing coming up from the floor to the sink, went down to the studs on two walls and put in insulation, tore out the RV sized ugly shower, laid beautiful tile he suggested that flows so well into the hallway with old white oak refinished floors, repainted and gave me a gorgeous three sided thick glass 5 foot shower. And subway tile panels all the way around the bathroom walls for easy maintenance. Here are some after and befor pictures. Thank you Daniel and Robyn and Alex for peace of mind, for beauty, and for hope. That is what you and the breathtaking bathroom really have given me.
